The Role Holder will be responsible for tracking inventory movements, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling physical stock with our digital records and ensuring we keep the right level of stock with minimal total provision at all times, by leveraging data-driven insights to balance high service levels with low carrying costs.

Responsibilities

·   Stock Monitoring, Demand Forecasting, and Inventory Accuracy: Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment based on agreed stock holding levels.

·   Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain system accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

·   Continuously improve demand forecasting by working closely with Regional Distribution Managers and Country Managers, while tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and stockouts.

·   Analyze and review supply chain data to identify issues, recommend solutions, and improve overall inventory performance.

·   Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate and real-time records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, issuances, and disbursements.

·   Order Fulfilment Support: Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and Service teams to optimize stock availability and ensure timely fulfilment of material requirements.

·   Coordinate purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and inventory processing activities.

·   Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to schedule deliveries, monitor shipments, and address issues such as damaged goods, shortages, or delivery delays.

·   Financial Management: Monitor inventory-related budgets, reduce aged and slow-moving stock, and identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

·   Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and guide inventory clerks and warehouse staff to ensure compliance with operational standards and best practices.

·   Record Keeping and System Updates: Update inventory management systems with accurate information on incoming shipments, stock transfers, and outgoing orders.

·   Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and generate reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, damaged or obsolete items, purchase and pricing data, supply chain performance, and inventory management system updates for Management review.

·   Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Country Supply Chain Partner and/or Regional Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

·   Advance Diploma or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.

·   A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar.

·   Excellent IT and analytical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), SAP HANA and PowerBI.

·   Excellent understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis, cycle counting and Pareto.

·   Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.

·   Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·   Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.

·   Excellent time management and organizational skills.
