He/She will lead in developing and executing an operational excellent strategy, to enable the manufacturing organization to implement the continues improvement culture to improve its operationg and quality performance.
He/She is responsible to train, lead, and coach engineer / supervisor the DMAIC methodology and execute improvement project with DMAIC approach.
He/She is responsible to identify the improvement opportunities in all area of the manufacturing organization, create project timelines, calculate the financial benefit, and execute the improvement project.
He/She is responsible to update and organize factory improvement board to ensure all the information is up to date.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a strong corporate identity among all staff, aligned with JJSEA’s Corporate Commitment and Philosophy, as well as JJ-Lapp Cable’s Mission Statement. Ensure compliance with the EHS and QMS systems in place.
- Manage and drive continuous improvement programs across all departments.
- Establish departmental performance indicators based on business objectives set by management.
- Develop an operational excellence strategy with a focus on continuous improvement projects.
- Work cross-functionally with operational, business, and support teams to resolve quality issues and drive long-term quality improvements.
- Collaborate with all relevant departments to gather real-time “Voice of the Customer” insights and act as a strong advocate for meeting customer quality and service expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement processes and procedures by conducting root cause analyses, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, and assisting in prioritizing improvement initiatives.
- Train and coach operational teams and project resources.
- Reduce operational costs by leading improvement initiatives and events.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to the General Manager and operational teams on continuous improvement processes, procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Liaise with external parties for benchmarking, knowledge center development, and project delivery purposes.
- Monitor and track the benefits of completed projects, lead post-implementation reviews, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead by example and promote a culture of quality, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certify
- Degree in Engineering.
- Min. 10 years working experience in manufacturing environment, with min. 5 years in a managerial role.
- High energy, motivating, and team building skills.
- Self reliant, works with minimum supervision.
- Stable work history.
- Able to multi task and communicate well with all levels.
- Able to think out of the box and apply innovation / creativity to suggested solutions
- Knowledge of problem solving tools and implementation.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concept
