JJ-Lapp (T) Ltd.Application Engineer play a key role in providing technical expertise and support to both internal sales teams and external customers. This position will act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions tailored to customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring proper application and usage of the equipment. This position bridges the gap between product capability and customer success — helping to drive sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction through your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

- Provide technical support and professional advice to sales teams and customers on product applications.
- Act as a technical consultant to recommend suitable solutions that match customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase equipment capabilities.
- Educate customers on proper product usage and application.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Support the sales team to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities, submit quotations, and follow up on leads.
- Collect market intelligence to help shape sales and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with Sales Manager to plan budgets and align with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive, friendly, and a great team player.
- 2–3 years in application support or technical sales, especially in process automation, system design, or building automation, is an advantage.
