We are seeking an experienced Application Lab Manager – Southeast Asia to lead our Regional Coatings & Resins Laboratory and provide technical expertise that supports business growth across the region. This role extends beyond laboratory management. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Regional Portfolio Management, customers and suppliers to develop technical solutions, resolve application challenges, deliver technical presentations and convert technical opportunities into business growth.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Regional Coatings & Resins Laboratory and its Bangkok-based team.
· Provide technical support, application development and troubleshooting for customers and internal business teams.
· Partner with Sales, Marketing and Regional Portfolio Management to identify and develop new business opportunities.
· Prepare technical reports, product presentations, marketing materials and customer-specific solutions.
· Deliver technical training and seminars, and conduct customer visits across the region.
· Collaborate with suppliers, laboratories and universities on technical projects, product development and testing.
· Contribute technical insights to regional market intelligence and business development activities.
· Ensure all laboratory activities comply with applicable environmental, health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications and professional capabilities:
· A University graduate in a faculty of Science, Chemistry, Polymer or related fields
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Coatings, Paints, Inks or Resins, preferable in R&D, Application or Technical Service.
· Good command of English, computer literacy and strong presentation skills.

Role requirements:
· Willing to travel upcountry and overseas.
