Legal Executive to be responsible for providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, preparing legal and other documents and liaising with relevant legal professionals. Legal executive also supports the Department Manager of Contracts Management with conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and organizing and maintaining files.
1. Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, corresponding with them and explaining complex legal matters.
2. Liaising with group legal director and external legal counsel on behalf of internal stakeholders.
3. Collect, examine and organize information and other legal documents.
4. Researching information such as regulations, laws and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports and legal advice.
5. Draft, prepare and proofread correspondence and legal documents e.g. contracts.
6. To perform all legal and administrative tasks including arranging for the execution and signing of legal documents, stamping and distribution of contracts and documents to respective parties.
7. Keeping up to date with relevant changing legislations.
8. Keeping track of accounts from external legal counsel.
9. Support internal stakeholder with commercial and legal discussions with clients.
10. To assist internal stakeholders with implementation of compliance policies, with specific focus on certification and other standards.
11. To escalate compliance issues/concerns to relevant internal stakeholders and advice on appropriate evaluation, action and resolution and support the development plus implementation of corrective action plans and process improvement areas.
