The Sales Engineer – Agriculture Irrigation is responsible for supporting the technical and commercial aspects of agricultural irrigation projects, from lead generation to project execution and after-sales support. This role is key in identifying and securing new opportunities, building a healthy project pipeline, and growing sales of irrigation products including full-system solutions, pumps, sprinklers, aerators, fertigation units, and control systems. The candidate will serve as both a trusted technical advisor and a proactive sales professional, working closely with customers such as plantations, farms, estates, agro-industrial players, government agencies, and consultants to provide tailored irrigation solutions that improve productivity, sustainability, and water use efficiency.
• Identify, target, and co-develop new agricultural irrigation business opportunities.
• Provide technical support, system design, and consultation for irrigation projects, including layout planning and product selection.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to understand on-ground requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders with accurate technical and commercial details.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, purchasing, business support) and external partners to ensure smooth execution and after-sales support.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging irrigation technologies.
• Maintain updated CRM (C4C) records, track project pipelines, and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Act responsibly at all times to comply with the Group’s and Company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and work instructions.
