the service engineer will provide technical support for both presales & aftersales activities and project execution. the person is expected to be a technical expert of renewable energy products, understand technical drawing and do coordination with clients doing presales & aftersales of the company's RE department
Responsibilities
- Perform technical experts on products such as Huawei inverter, Solar Panel, DC Cable solar, mounting, BESS, Transformer & Floaters PV mounting
- Support sales team for presales & aftersales activity such as presentation and spec-in to customer
- Provide commissioning & troubleshooting for Huawei Inverter & BESS
- Point of contact with principal for particular products
- Execute project after hand over by project application sales
- Assist project sales and customer in terms of advising solar pV system design
- Conduct proof of concept for various RE products
- Provide technical disclosure / case sharing / issue sharing regarding PV system design, installation, O&M, and issue management
- Provide service after-sales monthly report
Qualifications
- Holds Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / renewable energy engineering / power engineering
- Preferably the one who worked as electrical engineer previously
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field
- Strong understandings of 3-phase AC system, protection, grounding, power quality, PV system, mounting & ESS
- Good understanding of grid-connected PV system (LV&MV), string and central inverter architecture, DC side : string configuration, combiner boxes, insulation resistance
- Able to operate multiple electrical tools & measurement components (multimeter, insulation tester, grounding clamp)
- Experience in doing inverter troubleshooting & commissioning --> preferably Huawei inverter
- Understand basic BESS & design
- Experience in field support such as FAT, SAT
- Experience in fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and corrective action
- Able to work at height, on field support, local and international trips
- Good command in English
